Why are you pro-life?

Pro lifers, I'm curious, what is your rationale? Is it as simple as you believing abortion is murder, or is there more to it?

I'm pro choice except for late term abortions - and yes it's just because I consider those to be murder.

ok my view on abortions goes like this.

a woman gets pregnant. she has the choice to keep it, give it up for adoption, or abortion. im sorry but its not the babies fault she got pregnant. she shouldnt have spread her legs. people say she got raped. ok thats a different story but still no excuse for abortion as once again its not the babies fault. Give the child a chance give it up for adoption. let the baby live his/her life being that he/she didnt perform the crime of rape. either way whether the sex was consensual or she was taken advantage of its not right to abort something that had no control over the circumstances she was dealt! I AM TOTALLY AGAINST ABORTION AND PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE AND/OR GET ABORTIONS SHOULD BE EXECUTED!

Well, that's a strong opinion Speshul. Especially from my point of view, I agree with you that everyone should have a chance in life (even though no one has a fair chance). However, that child could be born with AIDS/HIV, or another birth defect which could literally ruin that child's life. The mother may abuse it because of how she felt toward her rapist, or she may love it as much as she would her child by will, but you don't know that until the child is born. Think of it this way, she wants an abortion and so she obviously has harsh feelings towards the kid. Do you let the kid get neglected (seeing as she may be stubborn and not put it up for adoption), or suffer because of a birth defect or a STD from the rapist, or do you let the child learn how to live without knowing his/her mother? No. None of that is right to the child either. What if the mother is 21 years old? 18? 16? Your daughter? Then what?

Not saying I support abortion but I believe that choice should be left to the mother. She could be adviced but eventually it should be her choice since it is her baby. Everyone else with an opinion can go to hell
